Honoring Pulse Victims in Orlando

 Several Quest Diagnostics employees were among the estimated 50,000 who gathered on the banks of Orlando’s Lake Eola on June 19 to honor the 49 people killed at Pulse nightclub the week prior. Lizbeth Lieberman, Quest Physician Account Executive, helped to coordinate the event by organizing volunteers and assisting disabled attendees. Our Pride Employee Business Network provided a bouquet to be placed at the memorial.Attendees held lighted candles and listened as each victim’s name was read aloud. Orlando, known as “The City Beautiful,” has a tendency for evening storms, but the rain held out for the vigil, with the exception of a brief drizzle that led to a rainbow appearing over Lake Eola.
